Lots of detailing... Custom designed vanity and incorporated millwork that mirrors not only the aesthetic of the barrel ceiling, but it's proportions, too. Using columns and decorative moldings, in addition to a trio of framed mirrors, the designe followed the widths of the ceiling's panels to create perfect symmetry.

Approximately 10 years ago, kitchens became more than just the heart of the home. Like the car you drive or the clothes you wear, they became a status symbol, thus changing our industry. In the past, we may have made our profit centers by adding a pullout waste bin or additional roll-out shelves, but like air conditioning and the AM/FM tape player in the automotive industry, they're now assumed to be inclusive in any mid- to upper-end project. So where do we go from here? Sure, the additional touches of crown molding and decorative turned posts seen in the last few years are nice, but they don't always fit the home or the client...

The company asked that the logo distinguish their work from competitors and reflect the custom, intricate work for which they are renowned. FEA created a hand tooled carved column image representing part of the Village Handcrafted name.
